Sample Daily Schedule

Here's a sample of what your child might do in a day at Joyful Noise Preschool and Daycare. We are pretty low key in terms of structure with meals being the only fixed part of a schedule.

Morning

We genarally have breakfast around 9am and then the kids are welcome to play with toys in our play room, read books or we go outside to play in the sunshine. We have ride on toys and a swing set with a large backyard with space for the kids to run around. We also have a nearby neighborhood park that we like to take a walk to on nice days. We take a snack break two hours after breakfast.

Afternoon

Lunch is generally around 1pm and then more playtime outside or inside. Other outside activities include sand, bubbles and water play, slides, bikes, painting, table toys etc.

Naptime or rest is generally about 3 in the afternnoon. Babies are on their own schedule (of course) according to their needs and whatever schedule you have them on at home.

We do take the ocasional fieldtrip to the library, park or beach if that is something you are interested in for your child. Otherwise, these are scheduled around children whose parents would rather not have them go on fieldtrips.
